When an alarm is triggered, the system first attempts to notify the primary contact (Ctv) through the app. If there is no immediate response, the system escalates the situation by sending SMS alerts to all nominated secondary contacts. If these contacts also fail to respond, Cops Operators are alerted to assess the urgency of the situation. Depending on their assessment, they may dispatch the appropriate emergency services (police, medical, fire) to ensure the situation is handled promptly.
Example Scenario: Suppose the alarm is triggered by a break-in at 2:00 AM. The primary contact is asleep and doesn't respond to the alert on their phone. The system then sends SMS notifications to the two secondary contacts. If neither responds, the Cops Operators are alerted at 2:05 AM, who then decide to dispatch the police to the location, ensuring the incident is addressed even in the absence of a user response.
