If you need to reset your Luna AI Camera for troubleshooting, transferring ownership, or connecting to a different Wi-Fi network, follow these steps.
Keep in mind that resetting the camera removes all saved settings, including Wi-Fi credentials. After the reset, you will need to set up the camera from the beginning, unless you are connecting it to a different Wi-Fi network through WiFi option in camera settings screen.
Here's how to reset different types of cameras.
Indoor Camera
- Turn on the camera by connecting to a power source using the adapter and the plug provided in the box
- Slide the lens up to reveal the SD card slot and a reset button next to it
- Use the tool provided in the box to press and hold the reset button until you hear the message, "Resetting Camera"
- Reset is complete when the camera says, "Wlecome to your new camera..."
Light Bulb Camera
- Turn on the camera by connecting to the power source
- Slide the lens up to reveal a flap covering the SD card slot and reset button; the flap is labeled with 'SD Card' and 'Reset.'
- Carefully open the flap to access the buttons.
- Press and hold the reset button until you hear the message, "Resetting Camera"
- Reset is complete when the camera says, "Wlecome to your new camera..."
Doorbell Camera
- Turn on the camera by connecting to a power source using the adapter and the plug provided in the box
- Locate the power button on the back of the camera
- Press the button 3 times rapidly to reset the camera. You'll hear the message, "Resetting camera"
- Reset is complete when the camera says, "Wlecome to your new camera..."
Bird Feeder Camera
- Remove the flap on the top of the camera, toggle the ON/OFF switch to ON.
- Locate the Reset button
- Press and hold the reset button for 3 seconds or until you hear the message "Resetting camera"
- Reset is complete when the camera says, "Welcome to your new camera..."
